Helen
Waldorf is an independent energy and environment
consultant, specializing in renewable alternatives analysis and regulatory
compliance. She was formerly Deputy Director for
Compliance and Enforcement in MassDEP’s Bureau of Waste Prevention, Business
Compliance Division, coordinating compliance and enforcement for air, water,
waste and the Environmental Results Program. Prior to that she served as an environmental analyst in the Bureau of Waste Site Cleanup, implementing Chapter
21E, the Massachusetts Contingency Plan and Federal Superfund cleanup. Ms. Waldorf holds degrees in public
administration, environmental science and biology from Harvard, Yale and Rice
Universities, respectively. She
was trained by Al Gore and The Climate Project as one of 1,000 presenters of
the slide show from An Inconvenient Truth.
